about
A year ago today I had one of the most life-changing experiences of my life. Jesus came and set me free from the hand of the enemy. He (Jesus) freed me from so many things! And He can do the same for you. He is on your side!
This song is part of my testimony. It draws parallels to the parable of the prodigal son in Luke 15:11-32. Where we chose to run from God and think He could never choose us or love us. But He says (Joel 2:12) even now, no matter how you've lived your life, the choices you've made, the place you're in, return to me!
lyrics
How far could I run, far from Your love
Where You’d fail to find me in my need
Would You just give me up, when You’d just had enough
Of my wanderings and far’way thoughts
No You, called me child
And You, called me loved
No You, called me child
And You, called me loved
My hope is found in You
My strength comes from You, alone
When the enemy lies to convince me
That I’m on my own, without any hope
I hear a small voice whisper
I'm not alone, no I’m not alone
Even now, even now
Return to me, return to me
Even now, even now
Return to me, return to me
Even now, even now
Return to me, return to me
I will return to the Father
Hold strong, in His mighty power
I’ll put my faith in no other
But You, only You
I will return to the Father
Hold strong, in His mighty power
I’ll put my faith in no other
But You, only You
How far would You run, to search for the one
And wipe away their every tear
For the sake of the lost, no matter the cost
The Son of God victorious
The Son of God victorious
The Son of God victorious
The Son of God victorious
The Son of God victorious
The Son of God victorious
The Son of God victorious
